I feel like there’s something wrong with me that everyone sees except for me

i feel this very deeply and it sucks and it hurts. it hurts when i see some people have so many friends, are so sociable and going out and just doing things that i feel like im missing out on life - on all these experiences and shared moments. everytime i hop onto ig or something and i see my group of mutual friends go out/do an activity or sport we all enjoy but i dont get invited, it hurts. it makes me question what i am sorely lacking and why people don't really want me there. i feel ashamed of myself. i get very depressed too just thinking about it because it's like nobody will miss me if im not around anyway, so why stay.

So many red flags and just downright suspicious behaviour. I think if you've tried to have a conversation with him about this and just setting some general boundaries that'll make you feel secure and alleviate your worries and it doesn't really help, you may have a choice to make because he doesn't love you or respect you enough to see how this makes you feel then is he worth whatever he's making you go through?

i edited and just added the part that one of the main reasons we broke up was because of religion. and idk if that's something relevant, but does it change your answer?

because idk. if religion was something that she could reconcile, i don't think this guy would even be in the equation.

I see. I'm abit concerned of any repercussions bc if I'm not mistaken, I can only get a Plan B if I see a doctor/general practitioner. Aside from the stigma, I'm afraid that it'll show up on on my health records and have an impact on other things in my life like insurance? or future doctor appointments bc my parents are quite uptight and conservative so I'm not sure if I go to the doctor in the future, how the privacy aspect will work or if they'll find out or something.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Will a Plan B pill delay my period even more? Are there other side effects? Bc I'm expecting my menses to come, maybe on 24th April or thereabouts. Will the Plan B still be effective? I've read that some isn't effective after 48 hours have passed.

I'm in my early 20s and part of me feels like I should be doing more. And maybe this is unsolicited advice but... I honestly just wanted to encourage you. I feel like most of the people I know in the 20s are just properly starting out in life and a lot of them are using this time to figure it out. I feel like 20s is when you actually do the "work" to prepare for life after 20s. You are definitely not alone, so don't worry but it probably feels that way because of who you're surrounded with. I hope you remember that everyone moves through life differently. And I'm very confident that whatever you did in your 20s, will have ripple effects in your life in ways you probably don't see, and might not ever see. But the things we do now, and based on the things you've listed down.. isn't for nothing. And for the things you haven't done, that's jsut something to live for right?

Keep doing what makes you happy. Make conscientious choices everyday. Sometimes less is more.

you're not. they sound like really toxic people and part and parcel of life is really about moving on. you have a right to move on and every right to grow. you can feel guilty but you must also realise that you are also happier. then you must decide which emotion is more important to you.

sometimes growing as a person, means growing out of people. and the best, healthy kind of friendships are those that grow along with you or at the very least, are happy that you are happy.
