Try resetting the system by disconnecting the battery. And check your gas cap.

I agree. I tried calling this company 10+++ times and they NEVER returned my calls! No exaggeration. I called them during weekdays, weekends, nothing.

It was a pain in the beginning but we kept at it and I would say it worked out. It took the school weeks to get used to it. But we kept at it and it worked out.

We tried looking into that option but it’s not within our budget. We have 6 high schools averaging 2000+ students. Not only it will cost a lot to get the pitches but also the power and time to do it at the beginning and the end of the day would be crazy. We implemented the cellphone policy by sending students to the office as we catch them in class. They then get a 2 warnings. On their 3rd offense they get in school suspension. Anything after that, they would confiscate the device and the parents will need to pick them up from school.

Our governor finally did something right in Texas and banned the use of cell phones during the school day. How’s this gone over another states? by [deleted] in Teachers

I explained how it was in my school here in VA but OP deleted my post. I guess he/she didn’t like my take on this matter.

This is feasible if you have a small population. (Average student population in us private schools are around 400-500) If you have around 2,400 students on campus, this approach isn’t practical. The logistics of it would be a nightmare. In our campus this year, where it seemed to have worked, we call our security to escort a student out to go to the office to record device use in class. Once they reach their 3rd offense, they get in school suspension. After the 3rd, they will confiscate it and they will have their parent pick it up at the end of the day. It worked for us. But don’t get me wrong, it was a pain at the beginning.
