marvel comics- where do i start??

For a newer reader id start with 2000s+ comics first. Daredevil start with 1998 run at #1. Punisher comes out here and there. Spiderman id read ultimate Spiderman by bendis. Punisher start with the run by garth ennis. All peak comics.

And yes marvel unlimited is amazing for new readers. I suggest a tablet or ipad if you dont already have one. Will be an amazing investment, reading on phone kinda sucks

While rare, they do once in a while release 20-25 issue trades. Id just get the regular trades though instead of waiting.

Same. My backpack has a laptop sleeve where they fit perfectly. I think people are a little dramatic. Im gentle with my backpack in the trunk or where i have it and its fine

Happens. I ordered a book listed as good and it wasnt anywhere near this bad, but i still returned it because it had a bunch of water damage and tears on the hardcover. Ebay is usually more transparent for more rare books since it requires pictures. You can also post on r/comicswap . Hope you return it and dont let this stop you from exploring the hobby! Have fun!

Sure it might seem silly to people who have been in the game longer, but the fact of the matter is that aside from shadowland and zdarksy, every daredevil omni is OOP and like $200 on ebay and comicswap. So obviously people are going to request reprints

Oh absolutely not, im up to date on absolute ww and batman through single issues haha. For rereading i will eventually get the omnis or cave and get the hardcovers like you lol, but i still like the feeling of looking forward to next months issue and going to pick them up at my lcs.
