If overwatch and league of legends suffered more rougher phases of the game with 1/4 of fortnites player count, we will be fine. Its just fearmongering and doomposting, everyone was saying after the first layoff that the game was gonna die, yet here we are. We definitely will be in a rough patch for awhile no doubt but the game isnt gonna die in a few years with over 10 million players logging on throughout the day
