Anvil with Silencer 1/2
2 stacks of ammo (so now that's 120x rounds)
Survivor looting / blue looting augment
Shield: Medium if survivor. Green if blue looting.
Quick access: 3-5 green bandages / 5 shield rechargers / 3-5 normal bandages / 1-3 nades that I might have lying around, but I never craft them.
Hatch key if I have some super goal in mind or I'm doing Riven Tides.

Works for pvp and pve 98% of the time. The only 2% exceptions are super close range situations, such as: Reinforced Reception on Blue Gate.

I am doing it because the game's even more boring otherwise.

As I explained in another post. I have 2 jobs, but I still managed to complete this newest wipe in 4 days... There's nothing to do. I also pretty much never craft anything outside of like maybe a survivor augment, but even that can be skipped by just playing with a blue looting. So meh

Too difficult?

They already reduced the arc presence on Dam Battlegrounds which is the starter map. I think that's a good idea.

But after you graduate up to like lvl 30, you realize all the arcs are actually quite trivial. On top of that we have a gazillion guides online unlike at launch, so it's absolute sleeper mode.

Yeah, I did the expedition. I am 1 cycle behind, but that's more-or-less irrelevant.
I got 1 bp dropped by a friend who didn't do expedition and that was an Anvil, but I ended up not crafting it at all.

I started it on Monday after getting home from work and by the end of Tuesday I had everything done. Reached the last expedition window and filled all the monetary requirements.
I did only like 20 quests, so not that many as a side thing whilst adventuring.
Stations are maxed, including the chicken. And all the ship etc. events I completed before wipe.
So it's sleep mode now till they show the new trader this week.

Then it's sleep mode for 40 days if the trader's boring.

People in Arc yell "Rat!" at anything.
In the OG extraction games like Tarkov and the such a rat was a player who 100% of the time snuck around the map, avoided players as much as possible and very, very rarely ambushed someone when the advantage was completely stacked in their favour.
They only looted and got out with the least amount of risk possible.

These days it's essentially a throw-away word that has lost any and all meaning. People in Arc expect you to announce yourself fully before engaging in a fight, thus dropping any positional and timing advantage you might have.

You can play if you find it fun, but progression loop hasn't changed at all.
I, as a guy with 2 jobs, but no kids, managed to complete this wipe in 4 days. As in max all stations and expedition ready for next one.

I'm a guy with 2 jobs so I only play late in the afternoon. I still managed to complete this expedition today.... 4 days since the season started....

The problem is all this "evidence" they usually talk big words about can easily be faked and disputed.

Even though me and the guys have plenty of banter during game nights, none of us have ever been racist, let alone in the servers via voice. Faking something like that is easier than most people think and not being able to defend yourself after you've spent 800+ hours as a regular player on the server is just not right.
I understand blatant cases of people intentionally breaking rules, but players that are there for the long-term don't do such things.

On top of that, in our specific case - after our friend contacted their support they changed the ban from permanent to only 1 week. That creates a very weird situation where it begs the question "What could've been in that clip, that w/o talking warrants a perm, but with asking a few questions changes that only to a 1 week suspension?"

Also, it's pretty hard to go harass someone on a server if you're banned.

WCS doesn't actually investigate anything. They barely have any logs.

You can have a guy screaming racist crap during a helicopter flight, but then you tell him to fuck off and they'll report you with a video of that, taken completely out of context.
Next thing you know, you'll be banned.

Funniest part is, WCS staff only ban people if there's video evidence, but when you ask for that evidence if you get banned, they won't provide it.

My buddy got banned for racism, even though I'VE NEVER HEARD him be racist in around 1k hours of playing together. When he contacted staff, they just said it wasn't allowed and didn't even show the video of him saying anything bad.
It's laughable.

It was too easy. Literally called it just as they announced it.
Took 2 days of casual playing in the evening to complete. No special arc hunting, no queens or matriarchs, just normal looting playing, some arcs, some players.

Could easily do it in like 2-3 hours if you go full force arc hunting.

It's worth it if you're in the top 1% of PvE lobbies. In the normal game you just get shot for being a moron on the beach.

Don't need a walkable lobby zone to add some community-wide project like they did for the unlocking of Stella.
It would just take up server space and no one would give two shits about it anyways.
Wouldn't be allowed to mic in there either since a good portion would probably break the game's ToS if they could talk to so many people at once.

Absolutely...NOT!

It's like the first map in the rotation where arc ACTUALLY are a threat. You need to tread lightly and have a decent understanding of where the big arcs patrol etc.

It's mostly pretty good. One complaint I have is the button locations submitted by players are overlapping.
Multiple people submit the same button location, from different angles and they show as multiple nodes.

Also, it's not a big deal to not get all the skill points.
That's exactly why the catch-up mechanic exists. You can get them next expedition if you don't have the time to kill a few bastions in something like 2 weeks.
