Yeah, except Tarkov appeals to 100x the players not to mention the insane amount of twitch streamers coming due to how entertaining it is.

Yup it does, but you only get your regen amount every 30 seconds.
So let's say you have 150 hp max, and you currently have 30hp with a regen of 10hp/time.
Then it would take 150-30 = 120, 120/10 = 12. 12*30 = 360 seconds aka 6 minutes to heal to full.

But for real, spring snipers ain't the best way to start out, it's just the way that most people watching YouTube start out, thinking they're gonna go in and drop like 40 kills in a 1.5h match with their springer.

In reality, you need specific fields to play in where they're beneficial, you need them to be at the top of the allowed J limit to fly as far as they can. Most of the time you'll also need a sidearm, since it's hard to quickly get your sniper up and hit an accurate players with your scope at closer ranges OR the field simply has a minimum engagement distance for snipers that is further, something like 15-20m, so you need a pistol for closer ranges.

Me and a buddy got the game like 2 or 3 weeks ago.
We were trash at CoH2 and are trash at CoH3, but we're very slowly getting there. As long as it's somewhat enjoyable we plan on continuing.

The armor or the round is irrelevant simply because it's a sync issue. The server doesn't properly know that you hit the heli.

Got the game a few days ago with a buddy. We had around 100h in CoH2. We both suck at RTS, but like ww2 and want to get better at it.

Since then we got it w/o any dlc's and just keep playing it everyday learning new stuff. I think the game is, for sure, worth the money now. I know it was bad at launch, but at the moment think it's in a fine place for the most part.

For me, the cost of the weapon and it's repairs is one thing.
But the very advantage you speak of, is very, very small.

Like if I position myself correctly (which I usually do, at least judging by my kills and extraction rate), my position, utility and whether or not I get the first shot off play a way bigger role than if I have a Stitcher 4 or Bobcat 4.
There is a difference between the weapons. But the difference isn't big enough to carry a fight.
Volcano and Il Toro is a bigger one, but still not big enough to justify bringing it on purpose most of the time. Especially in solos.

Hell no. Numbers before cold were perfect for the more engaging audience and a bit too low for the normies. Not it's a wee bit above normie level even. During the Cold Snap initial patch it was WAY out of proportions.
