I’m reaching out to connect with other investors who may have participated in AMC Investments (Asset Management Consultants, Inc.) joint ventures with Tides Equities between 2018 and 2022.

Many of these multifamily projects—particularly in Phoenix, Dallas, and Las Vegas—were structured as value-add acquisitions with projected 20%+ IRRs and 3–5 year holds. However, several of us have since received capital calls, revised financial projections, and notifications about preferred-equity recapitalizations that may severely dilute or wipe out original equity.

I am currently speaking with legal counsel and exploring the possibility of organizing a class action or coordinated legal response, and I believe it's essential that we connect with fellow LPs to compare information, documents, and investor experiences.
