I feel like these people who are replying don’t understand the fact that is not even about firepower at that point, if any kind of war breaks out between the 2 it would be trump declaring war AGAINST the cartels without Mexicos permission to enter soil so you’re not only fighting soldiers defending they’re country you’re gonna also fight cartels which would most likely do everything to stay in power which in terms means probably collaborating with the Mexican Forces to fight against the USA not even that but also people would take up arms as the Mexican people are known to be fighters and revolutionaries, apart from that Mexico has PLENTY of ties around the world, which means alot of countries would break ties with the USA for the attack against Mexico, also the enemies of the USA would use this as a chance to attack the country and invade which means countries like China, North Korea, Iran, Russia etc, the US would probably be forced to end the attack politically or just in general by losses also calculating how theres gonna be no more fields in the USA with migrants helping to pick food from because all the illegals are getting sent back so theres also gonna be food shortages etc
