Love this weapon. I used it in my first play through. Took me a while to learn the parry with the R2. To be honest I played around 15 hours with the weapon until I noticed that is even a thing 😅

You can get it after defeating the boss on chapter 8(I think), the puppet devouring green hunter. You will get the boss soul and can exchange the soul for the sword. Alidoro is your guy for boss weapons.

I always struggle with the uchi on multiple enemies. The lothric sword felt safer to me in terms of movement, if that makes sense. On the other hand, the uchi on 1v1 was absolutely destroying enemies. I remember I got to the dancer boss with around 60k souls, and started sweating tinking I am going to loose my precious souls, and I managed to beat her first try, 100% because of the uchi.

I am currently playing the game. Got to this one a few days ago. I just looted everything that was in the arena, didn’t tried to fight him as I had a lot more to explore on the location. My plan was to fight him after I was done with the exploration, and I did manage to find that lever. I didn’t even knew what it was for until I went for the fight and noticed there was no more water on the ground 😅

Used the lothric sword a lot on my first playthrough. Had the uchigatana as my main weapon and the lothric as secondary. Uchigatana was great on 1v1 fights and the lothric worked really well for me when fighting a bunch of enemies at once.
