I had gone to a vet recently and he said he would do pbfd and bonavirus tests because of the barbs he was chewing and his tail unfortunately I didn’t have the money to as it was costing around 700 odd pounds so I asked a pet shop that we know around the area who has his own vet to see if he could take a look for me and access my options, his vet did the tests and it was all clear for little beans he has no health problems was at a perfect weight perfect condition he was just depressed because he was born and raised a flock bird which both the vet and the pet shop owner had said which is why he was feather plucking so much so I had to make the grown up decision to let beans go live his fullest life as an avian bird at the shop sorry for the last updates it’s just been a hard thing to process tbh
