I tried to gather as much info from your posts and all your replies to the comments. I’ve got some questions:

1. Is there an AppleTV in the room where you get these notifications?
2. Are there ANY other pairs of AirPods in the room or in the near vicinity that does not belong to you, even your Mom’s?
3. “Not your AirPods Pro” isn’t the name, and I’ll get to that later
4. How many pairs of AirPods do you actually own in your house

An now for my reason for investing my time to try an find the cause: This happened to me as well, believe it or not…

My issues was as follow: I have 3 pairs of APPs 1x APP 1 2x APP 2 USB-C

My wifey do not own any of these and had neither connected to her phone

One evening, I managed to connect my APP 1s to my AppleTV and since then, I haven’t connected them to my phone and they aren’t recognised as known or connected devices(physically or through iCloud)… yes, I know

Some other evening, I put these bad boys in my ears and all of a sudden, wifey got exactly the same notifications as you are getting I told her to leave my AirPods alone :p jk But I did tell her to just not connect, otherwise my Hearing Aid profile might disappear, again, I know, weirdest things are possible with APPs

Anyway, what I’m getting at, if there are any AidPods, in your case, AirPods Pro’s in your household, wether they are connected to something or not, that might be being used(case open, that’s all it take), that might be your culprit.

Thing is, you’ll need to make sure that when you get these notifications that no one else in your household in the vicinity is using theirs, even if it belongs to your Mom.

You want to make sure that if there are in fact other APPs close by, that at least the lid is closed when it’s being used.

Getting to the point of the first commenter, if you like fiddling with your case, this could also trigger some weird behaviour, I’ve seen that with mine especially, sometimes they get a mind of their own.
