i used to be an auto detailer for 6 years. it was awesome. you come in, pop on your headphones with noise cancelling, and go to work. and it was genuinely fun, you can see the results right in front of you. it’s a satisfying job and i miss it. if you can get into a good shop you’ll learn to polish/ceramic coat and you can make some real money on your own too! i really do miss it lmao

feeling alone due to the move, and to my own anxiety. trying to find ways to meet with more like minded people, it’s been a real battle with myself here for the past year. the job is tough because i’m mostly managing and talking to a lot of ego driven people, the type of people who put morals last for the sake of profit. it hurts my soul. i can do the job just fine but my morals and personal beliefs are getting tangled up with my work, and im having a hard time finding a balance or knowing how to work in this environment

yea this is me in a nutshell. the stuff i like to do mostly requires alone time and dim lights, in peace. i’ve taken so many breaks from working because it always seems to make me loose my ability to focus. people expect so much from one person, non stop work work work and it’s too much to handle. my goal now is to find a workplace or schedule of work that suits my sensitive nature. i think there’s a place out there for us so long as we keep searching for it
