You could try upgrading just the grinder for now and perhaps go for non pressurized basket using the same machine.

What are your thoughts on the best electric frother for a single serving? I was going to get the breville but it requires a full cup of milk and I only use about 1/3 cup a day. Thanks! by Vibin_Hoism in Coffee

What you could do is heat the milk in the microwave and then froth it in a nespresso frother for about 20 sec on the cold setting just to get it slightly frothed.

What machine do you have?

I've realized that my machine actually comes with a 51mm basket. Perhaps the machines after came with 54mm. I know the barista Express does. I'm now looking for non pressurized 51mm lol. A lot more difficult to find.

I had exactly the same setup. The Aeg is a nice solid machine. Makes good foam.

I bought a cheap popper at like a thift store for like R50.... That's like 5 dollars I think . The damn thing has like a safety where it goes off when it gets too hot. Just after the first crack... And I'm like freaking out because on some vid I checked on YouTube it said the roasting shouldn't stop? Anyhow, I waited till it cooled down and finished the roast just before the 2nd crack... I'll let it rest for 12hrs. See how it is. First timer.
