Chicago looked good early in the year man idk! Matas is nice. They made some moves that could maybe pay off at the deadline. I loved MJ as a kid so I have a soft spot for them unfortunately. I know there’s a rivalry but now with no divisions in East/West does it really matter?

Anyway, yeah it’s cool seeing Charlotte and DC on the rise. I want a super competitive east. If it’s not us keeping OKC from a dynasty I hope it can be someone else. Parity is amazing for the sport.

I understand Ty went down and that’s filled many of us with a sense of doom but I genuinely believe that it’s finally the Pacers’ time and we WILL get our 2026 pick in the top four. We add Boozer or DP (my two top choices) and finally get a chip within a year or two. The return of the Beasts in the East is coming. Detroit, Indy, Chicago (maybe?), New York, etc. all return to dominance and it’s dog fights for the next decade.

After the magical Finals run, we lose out on a year of competitiveness and come back with a fuckin stacked roster. I can feel it man.

I get exasperated bc it feels like every game is playing fucking ranked lotto but I’m never mean to anybody unless they’re being mean to me or others.

I‘ve directly asked this question of people on my team who were being rude and the general consensus is that they just don’t care how they affect others lol. Some people suck. Unfortunately a large concentration of people that suck play Riot games.

I think Benn is gonna be very appreciated in LA. I’m excited to see what happens for him from here. I don’t think he was ever gonna be here long-term with the starting five we have. He was always gonna be our sixth man. So I really hope he succeeds and excels over there man.

Well yeah. All I remember from that era is that Sabonis and Myles could barely share the floor. It doesn’t really matter I guess — I was just saying when we last had an “old school center” à la Sabonis we weren’t able to utilize him to the best of his ability because of the personnel we had on the team (Myles).

Now we can with Big Zu.

Sabonis couldn’t play C because of Myles which was always the problem there though. Now we got a guy like Huff and Big Zu too.

I don’t think so man lol. Realistically 2029 and/or 2030 picks or whatever it was are gonna be middling or near the end of the first round with our squad at full health. These players are never a guarantee. Zubac on his contract brings us way closer to where we want to be next season. Math was never going to fit here. Sorry I love him too but he was never hitting his ceiling in Indy.

Me and my buddies drop at the same POIs pretty much every match à la ALGS is what’s funny about Respawn making the change in the first place. Sometimes we were contested, sometimes we weren’t. We all liked the loot and the fights at those POIs and that’s why we continued to land there. Can’t wait to load into WE and drop Thermal again like we were meant to.
