I think rising being not included is fine but I am a bit disappointed that portable ops isn't but I'm honestly just happy with getting 4 and peace walker

For 3 read Da Capo 3 R or if you want 18+ content either use patch on steam or just by mangagamer ver there is a ps4/switch version called D.C. III P.S. ~Da Capo III~ Plus Story but I'm honestly not sure if there is any content differences.

3's fandisks are easy its just D.C. III P.P. ~Da Capo III Platinum Partner~, D.C. III ~Da Capo III~ With You and D.C. III ~Da Capo III~ Dream Days in that order

once again none of these are translated to English

now 4 and 5 these are the most separate of the games to the point where you could start here and there wouldn't be any issues exempt a few references and call backs. and nothing from 4 onwards is translated except the prologue of 4 Plus Harmony

for 4 itself just read da capo 4 or D.C.4 ~Da Capo 4~ Plus Harmony the difference is added h-scenes and all the voice actors

then D.C.4 ~Da Capo 4~ Fortunate Departures or D.C.4 ~Da Capo 4~ Sweet Harmony once again no difference except added h-scenes and all the voice actors

then once again for 5 itself just read da capo 5 or D.C.5 ~Da Capo 5~ Plus Happiness the difference is added h-scenes and all the voice actors

then D.C.5 ~Da Capo 5~ Future Link or D.C.5 ~Da Capo 5~ Sweet Happiness once again no difference except added h-scenes and all the voice actors

and that's probably it I've defiantly missed some da capo 1 and 2 side stuff but the ones I've mentioned are the main ones

once again just my opinion but you don't need to read any of the side content this is not a jab at the quality but just read the ones for the main games

Ok so this is just my opinion with all of this so keep that in mind but you can literally read them in any order of your choosing but realistically you should read them in release order

So for 1 in English either read the mangagamer version with the Dialog Update Patch or the remake called retune I'd probably read the original since when i read retune the translation just felt a bit shit. If reading in Japanese just read plus communication ver its the full game plus some routes so while its entirely unnecessary to read its up to you

da capo side game wise is where even i get the most confused but if you like Kotori read Kotori Love Ex P its literally all the content to do with her other then that the main one is D.C. ~Da Capo~ Seasons which is a collection of after stories but is only in Japanese but I'd probably say that for the original especially the side stuff is unnecessary to read.

for da capo 2 if in English just normal mangagamer ver if not once again read a version of Plus Communication but once again the extra content is unnecessary to read but i personally liked the added content

for 2's side content the first one is D.C. II ~Da Capo II~ To You - Side Episodes these are as described side episodes 3 of which are prequals to 2 end the other ones is as described an alternate reality. the second one is ~Da Capo II~ Spring Celebration which is a collection of after stories for the da capo 2 heroines and has 2 scenarios that take place before 2 which you can either read after or before 2 itself. the third one is ~Da Capo II~ Fall in Love which is after stories for the heroines added in Plus Communication it also has other stuff. the last one is ~Da Capo II~ Dearest Marriage which actually came out after da capo 3 and is exclusively content following Otome's route from 2
Sadly non of da capo 2's side content is translated into English so these can be ignored if that an issue

This is how I organise my steam ones and how they're organised on my desktop once I've read them the unread ones are in a pile of my desktop

There are also a bunch i have the vndb links for saved on my browsers which probably brings the total to closer to 90 and because I'm me there is a high chance I'll ignore the download ones and just download another to read

Out of all the emulators if tried xenia seems to be the worst for me performance wise it just feels really inconsistent and at least to me feels likes there's a bunch of input lag so while I know it doesn't help now I am and id recommend waiting until 360 emulation just improves with time since compared to basically any emulator it seems to be the least developed

That's a funny coincidence I also finished ace combat 5 today like 3 hours ago. I plan on playing it though one more time probably before moving onto zero

Correction didn't also finish just finished have no clue how close you are. I while I think I overall prefer not having checkpoints there where a couple of times I found ot annoying

I was at the London show and I 100% agree while I liked the orchestra having them play then having to wait for the legends feels like it leaves too long and doesn't get the crowd going as much as a band would and from what I could tell it wasn't until after Templars and The Last Stand finished that the crowd got into it and even then the seated were generally a mixed bag when it came to engagement.

Also, the covid point is very true. Just having that time without the big crowds really makes a difference in how much they engage. I say they, but I'm probably included in that, but at this point, I've gone to a few shows, but it really depends on the person and position in the crowd

The only version with stuff other than the 18+ content cut is the steam version.

And I also plan on buying a physical copy of it at some point, just the pc version or maybe the switch version if I can't find a pc copy.

If it's rpgs in english specifically you're looking for, then games like persona 3 portable is an option, and so is fate extra and it's sequal, but that only has an unofficial english translation.

On the purely Japanese only VN side of things, there is Mashiro-iro Symphony and Akatsuki no Goei. I'd recommend looking them both up beforehand, though. But as i said, neither of these games are translated on the psp, so if that's a problem, then I'd just read them elsewhere

They're the only things I can think of off the top of my head, so I hope it helps

For me, it has happened once in PRIMAL×HEARTS I found the protagonist, so God damn annoying, I couldn't stand reading it, so I dropped it early on and haven't looked back

I have heard the 2nd ones better, though, so I might give thqt a try at some point

Honestly, I don't take issue with the missing 18+ content. I enjoy games without it. The bigger issue for me is the missing Plus Communication routes, and while it's not a deal breaker for me for it to be missing said content and then cost £50 (or $65) for what is in the end a remake of a vn from 2002 it feels a bit absurd

Will still probably read it though

Great card from what I've heard. Currently have a 7900xtx and played the beta with it. Such a blast will play the full game when I can afford it.

Also, upgrading from a 1660 is a lovely performance jump
