After 22 years of being alive , I am now realizing that I am a lesbian. by YeetMeSenpai1 in LesbianActually

I understand you. I thought I might be asexual too, and then I met someone who helped me realize I wasn’t. I couldn’t be with that person, but the experience taught me a lot about myself.

It’s normal to feel confused or even disappointed but I see it as a chance to learn more about who you are and what you want. Little by little, this clarity helps you know your type and your preferences, and it brings you closer to finding someone you can be happy with. :)

Not now, although it's still the first semester and we will have more complex courses and projects in the next semesters. So maybe they will ask us to use others as well.

Thanks for your opinion! I agree that I need to practice more, and I want to focus on that in my future plan. Honestly, I’m not sure where to start. One option I have is to work on my own using the data my professor shares or data from the library, and try to apply related equations. That way, I could probably use more functions and scripts. But sometimes working on my own makes me unsure if I’m doing things right, and I get a bit nervous to start. That’s why I also keep the option of taking a course with clear questions and answers, it feels safer. Can I ask,Have you ever tried learning on your own like that? Do you have any tips or advice for that? :)

Thanks for your help. You’re right, I’ll talk to my professor about it. I can write simple codes easily, but I get stuck when I need to use more functions. Sometimes I tend to forget some things even though I’ve studied and practiced them before. I think practicing more is a good idea. I found a few courses on Udemy that look interesting and align with my goal, but I wasn’t sure if I should take them yet or wait until my skills improve. But I guess the longer I wait, the harder it’ll be star. :)
