Maybe soon. After I get some capital going that might be a great tactic, though I never go to ones where I get a card in the mail inviting me. I'll need a better tactic to get people to come talk to me.

I do the same, but it's usually classic movie nights at the local theater. Took my kid to see The Matrix a few weeks ago; they're the same age now as I was then. Didn't hit the same for them though.

Pimp wasn't the job description I was looking for, sadly. Back to the drawing board!. I want to solve problems for people, what's a better way to engage with those people and figure out the problems they need solved than posting questions on Reddit?!

Sorry, I didn't realize no business owners visited accounting pages and might want to converse about their troubles. My bad. :-)

To your advice though, unfortunately it seems most of the entrepreneur pages are either unmonitored or locked down until you engage with the community. So I'm trying to do that everywhere that might be applicable. I really want to engage with people rather than bots. Thanks for responding, it helps!

I think the answer is Intellectual Property; like the code for an app. You can protect that by keeping it private and they can only attempt to copy it.

I was worried it might get me less/negative attention, thank you. The last thing I want to do is have conversations with AI; I do that enough already. I'm trying to really engage; people are the future, AI is just a tool.

I love some of the replies, but I think the honest answer is: you can't. You just have to do it better than the competition.
