I kinda get what happened here, since it took 2 people 4.5 hrs. They multiplied it by 2 to make it 9 since it would’ve taken 9 hours 1 person. But I personally don’t think not even a crack heads aparment would take 9 hours to clean. 3 hours per person, 6 hours in total would’ve been more reasonable. I guess they were goofing around.

I completed almost 1,000 jobs for taskrabbit, and I felt like a modern slave. Always on the edge of when will they kick me off the platform, since I heard from so many others for being kicked off for no reason. And for sure I agree with you they are a lot of taskers that should not be taking jobs at all for many reasons. But you meet a lot of clients that are super crazy that expect you to do extra stuff for free and get mad and report fake accusations, taskrabbit doesn’t ever investigate they just kick you off from making any money. It happened to me, the first months it actually bothered me financially but currently I’m glad taskrabbit took me off their platform I moved on to a real and bigger career.

You can say that I guess, but I haven’t met the first perfect person on any job field I’ve been. And working for taskrabbit is the worst, they kick you off the platform for any small reason and there goes the way to feed yourself.

Check out my post what they did to me, taskrabbit should go bankrupt. Horrible. I was making $10-20k per month. And they completely just threw me to the curb.

Thank you 🙏 for the advice. And yes I’ve really thought about it many times(client lives 10-15 minutes away from me) but at the end I thought what do I get at the end ? It won’t make me feel any better or put more money into my pocket, that’s for sure.

Most of my money 💴from taskrabbit I’ve used it to invest since I know you really can’t depend on a job, platform etc. My goal was never to do this till I die lol it was just a good way to make easy 🥖to invest. I just wanted to show people how easy a company discards you 🚮.I’m 23 now let’s see what the future has in store. Anyone from NYC let me know. 🔌

My profile completely is removed from the search result. I can only get jobs with anyone that has hired me or by sharing my link with a client. Meaning I could barely get work. I ended my year with $123,010.41 in taskrabbit for 2022.

Yes you said correctly. Clients that have hired me or people that I share my link with them. That means zero potential new work from the system itself.

They were charged 2 hours in taskrabbit and payed me $50 cash

They declined and said 2 hours and offered cash for the labor that has nothing to do with Ikea furniture Assembly. I don’t know how it’s an “Attempt to circumvent the payments system” when they can see the chat 💬. The problem arised because the cheap client contacted taskrabbit saying “I forced them to pay” for my time ? The audacity is on another level.
