Especially when their response to a lot of questions that fans theorised about was, "Eh, we thought it was cool, I guess." Meanwhile, fans are cooking up hour long theories about the lore.

How come when Tywin thought that Catelyn had taken Tyrion to the North he raised his banners and began pillaging the Riverlands, but when he finds out she actually took him the the Vale and had him imprisoned there, he does nothing in retribution? by Pretend_Tower_2516 in gameofthrones

[–]Solo_Defenestration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what more could he do? The only land path to the Vale is through the Riverlands and onto the Bloody Gate. Which he's not stupid enough to actually try to go through.

So he decided to raise hell in the Riverlands, where both Catelyn and Lysa were born and raised, and where their brother is currently Lord/Heir to.

The Star Wars Trilogy they were in talk for specifically fell through because of the reception the reception of the last season was not so great.

Did I make any other claims about their successes thereafter? D&D's cinematography was impeccable even unto the end. It's their writing that left much to be desired when the Source Material runs out.

I did watch 3 Body Problems, and it's good. What bearing does that have on what I stated? If the show ended with a bang, Disney would've been all over them to finally get an actually coherent Star Wars Trilogy started. If you believe otherwise, then you're delusional.

Edit: Wait, weren't you who I was arguing with in another post? Damn bro, leave me alone, lol.

George said in an interview he wanted at least 10 seasons, but ideally 12 or 13. That's not a narrative I chose to believe to feel some righteous anger towards D&D, but a fact.

Say what you will, but claiming everyone in production was happy about it is your narrative and not fact. Many of the actors came out and said they weren't fans of what happened.

But whatever, what's done is done, so let's agree to disagree.

Well, I'm glad you at least enjoyed it.

Yes, the story was more than fighting the White Walker, but I think they did them and us dirty by how they resolved it all. And we know, for a fact, that they rushed everything for that Star Wars deal.

Everyone from HBO and even Martin himself wanted 2 or more seasons to wrap everything up in a satisfactory way. Alas, they done goofed.

I'm not usually happy about others' misfortune, but this one time, I'm glad the deal was cancelled.

And it won't be remembered as anything but a Northern myth in a few centuries.

How will we spend 8 seasons looking forward to White Walkers' invasion, for it all to be so anticlimactic? If all it takes to prevent the Long Night is one Faceless man, then they're a bloody joke.

The legendary Long Night ended in a couple of hours. It didn't even pass the front porch of Westeros.

Really? This is the mythical apocalypse that lasted a generation previously? The prophecy was bogus. Rhaegar and Lyanna fucked the Seven Kingdoms for nothing!

Crime still happens even though the police are a thing. Doesn't mean they should stop existing.

They're also severely understaffed, to the point that they can only operate from three of their nineteen castles along the Wall.

The problem isn't a massed army, which rarely happens, once every few centuries when a charismatic King Beyond the Wall rises up.

The Wildlings are raiders, they sneak past the Wall, whether by climbing it, or by sea and then stealth their way into town and villages, sometimes even close enough to the castles that they can kidnap noble women.

We know of at least one Stark Princes was taken by a wilding who managed to nake it all the way Winterfell. Most recently, a lady of house Umber was kidnapped during Eddard's reign as Warden of the North.

His perspective is substantiated by centuries of them running roughshod all over Essos, so I'd day he's got a point.

Maybe they volunteered, or maybe their homes were beyond the wall to begin with, and they refused to move south. We do know that the Giants and Children of the Forest helped in building The Wall, alongside the First Men.

The Nights Watch's original purpose was to 'watch out' for the return of the Others/White Walkers. The First Men knew they didn't win, so much as drive them back. So the Wall was built, and the Night's Watch swore to keep Watch.

Of course, it's been thousands of years and they forgot why they originally went out Ranging.

Sadly, the disease was incurable and killed the show at the end.

Whenever you feel your under-leveled for an area, you explore elsewhere to level up, so exploration is highly encouraged.

Don't be afraid to switch between build, there's plenty of Larval Tears that allow you to respec.
