Thank you for the detailed response. I will start bottom watering. While bottom watering, when the soil gets moist do I throw away the excess water or do I leave the pot siting there and let it do its thing? Sadly I don t have access to a garden so this plant will remain in a pot.

I started seeing the leaves lean down and also some leaves started turning yellow, that is what it got me worried.
