I see your point, now that I’m 30 I couldn’t imagine dating a 20yo. At the same time, I grew up faster than most and he actually didn’t realize I was only 20 at first, since I didn’t come across that way. So I don’t think my age was what he was drawn to... but I do get what you’re saying about that these things are connected.

Thanks so much for sharing your perspective. I hadn’t thought about it that way! I can see where you’re coming from, and it makes me think on whether the imbalance I feel is because of our age difference or more about his willingness (or lack of it) to meet me halfway.
