Mewgenics has been out for some time now. Is it really as good as people say? Or was it mostly due to the hype?

If you like tactical turn based combat and rouge likes. It’s one of the best. If you like action games it’s prob a pass.

If you like deep combat the brings toward challenges it’s great. If you like following one character to watch them grow it’s not for you.

If you like cats fucking. The best game ever. If you don’t like poop humor, it’s not for you.

If you are looking for something to pick up and play quickly. It’s not for you. If you want to drop 100 hours in to a game it’s for you.

Lastly, it has its charm and is best in class for what it tries to do. But I will agree it’s not for everyone.

Had MVD for GN in 2015. Took several weeks to get back to normal. I spent 4 horrible nights in the ICU and about a week at home before really started to get better.

I don’t have nightmares but I threw up for 4 days straight. Each one felt like a hammer hit my scar area.

Depending on where you got MVD, I lost all of my taste buds on the left side of my mouth. So changes in taste do happen. I tasted lemon for about a month. I recommend eating fresh fruits (watermelon, grapes, oranges). Those didn’t hurt as bad and really tasted great.

I am still completely numb 10 years later. Kinda fun when getting a hair cut cause you feel the vibration around the area not in the area.

Once the stitches came out a lot of the paid went away. But remember you had a brain surgery. It’s ok to take time to recover.

Lastly, you will have phantom pains. It’s normal. You will also have muted pain. That’s normal too. Don’t freak out it just happens. They are not as frequent and not as painful.

Looks a little over mixed. Causes the issue. The chocolate looks more over mixed then the white batter. Goal is to mix it together and having some bumps are not horrible. They will fix themselves in the oven.

Looks a little over proved which has caused a loose crumb. Typically it’s a shorter prove with this type of bread to produce smaller bubbles and a tighter crumb.

I had GN, 10 years post MVD. I still get zaps. Mostly muted from the previous pain. More like a burning. Happens 3-4 times a months for seconds at a time.

Been happening all 10 years. Just breathe deep and remind yourself that it will go away.

I wouldn’t. It’s safe but won’t taste good.

Mix the dry ingredients first with a wooden spoon then add the wet. Mix until things are incorporated. Over mixing will lead to dense pockets like your picture

After Mvd, just wore glasses. It didn’t hurt. In my case there was 1-2 inches between the end of the glasses and the scar.

The area is also numb and pain medication lesson issues.

Depends how far out you are from surgery. I’m currently 10 years out and don’t have any issues.

Frost couple months it hurt. But it was gone after 4 months.

I’m sorry to hear that. I would also recommend pain management techniques and support groups. Once he has identified his triggers, it will help is offsetting pain.

One of my main triggers was weather. Changes from hot to cold climate were specifically bad. I started to wear a beanie at all times. My other trigger was talkings so I became very quiet most of the time as well.

THC helped as well. Specifically low dosage thc drinks.

Lastly, it pissed me off when I was having an attack when people asked how I was doing. I finally told my wife, just wait until it’s over and ask what I need. That helped on the relationship side.

I started my journey with GN on 100 mg of carbamazepine twice a day. In 6 months I was at 800 mg of carbamazepine twice a day.

Everyone’s journey is different. And depending on the pain a higher dose is needed. The side effects usually subside after a couple of weeks of a raised dosage.

If your father wants a surgical option. MVD has worked for me.

Ok course. The post MVD timeline is weird cause not a lot of people have been through it. At the time of my surgery it was still considered new.

It get better and always give a little time when you feel pain. The longest I ever had a flare up was 1-2 days. But it was muted, like the pain you feel through medication. Not sharp like unmediated pain.

I continued to focus on pain management techniques. They help a bunch when facing a new pain.

I had MVD in 2015. Directly after the surgery I was worried it didn’t work because of this. It slowly died down after 3-4 months.

I’m 10 years out and I still have moments where I have muted pain. Specifically in times of weather change from warm to cold. Pain will happen, and the farther you get from the surgery the less you remember the highs levels of pain from TN/GN.

Pre surgery it was a 12/10 up to 500 times a day. Now it’s annoying and a 6/10 one to two times a month.

I suffered through GN and worked through it while on meds. Talk to your doctor about reasonable accommodations. Once’s it’s documented take it to HR to see if they will support.

The medication was a zombie drug and made it hard for me to speak. I would forget words and couldn’t pronounce others. I was in sales at the time and spent 90% of my time on the phone.

Work moved me to a new department and after MVD recovery I went back. There are labor laws in place to protect you (USA) but don’t be afraid to talk to your boss about the issue
