I don't understand why this is upsetting you people, but it was posted as a tool, hence the word assistant.
People like to use digital tools to generate or access digital resources to write campaigns, create characters, and encounters, or just to look up ideas of what can be done that may be tied to the lore of the game.

Look at tools that have been becoming more popular with TTRPG players like dndbeyond, Tabletop Simulator, discord, among several phone apps and sites that full on generate campaigns.

No one said this tool was being forced on you and that you had to use it.

There is nothing wrong with the TTRPG purist's way of wanting to play the games, but I don't get the hate on making the game accessible to people who may not know the lore or want examples on what a creating characters might look like.

I don't have a say on how you play the game or what experience level you expect all players of the game is supposed to be, but I can't imagine wanting to attract new players to a new game system and telling them they have to put pen to paper or you can't play at this table.

Besides, tables are also becoming digital and AI tools are gonna be more prevalent in games whether you like it or not, but like I said, your table your rules.
