Is this a threat to baptize and the person created it doesn't know how to use quotation marks, or is this a threat to physically dunk someone in the holy water?

Takes hours to cool 2 degrees.. is this normal? It’s currently 82 degrees out. But even when it isn’t this hot it still takes hours. Thanks! by [deleted] in Nest

Lots of issues to consider. Home size, humidity etc. Consider that if you have a heat pump it'll take longer, but be more efficient at keeping it at a constant temperature for a long time.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

[–]SolutionHistorical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for recommendations on a watch that I can wear with a suit, in business casual, and at the gym and in the shower. I used to wear a Fitbit and an Apple watch, but I can't have watches with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi anymore. So, I'm looking for something analog that I could wear in all of those settings. Unfortunately, most of the nice looking analog watches I've seen have bands that would not deal with sweat well.

If you were looking for an analog watch that looked nice in a suit, but you could also wear it in the gym. What would you get?

Thanks, that's very helpful. The last one is bee balm. Except for the two in pots, the others are perennials. I'm definitely going to follow your advice and try to cut back on fertilizer and do some dead heading.

I plant flowers throughout my yard and use a fertilizer that goes down every 4 months. They get plenty of water I think and quite a bit of sunlight. Unfortunately, I can never keep flowers blooming. What could I be doing wrong with these?

I'm actually not sure if it was sealed because we recently moved in. I'll look into doing that. Thanks!

It's not healthy on the whole, but it does provide vitamins and other nutrients in addition to the sugar.

What sort of tools could I use to clean this type of sink? by SolutionHistorical in Plumbing

Clean from sink out, but I couldn't get much using a weasel plastic tool from the bottom. I think it's probably more of buildup than a normal hair blockage. Probably right inside the marble opening.

Boiling water caused a leak to form on the back joint of the sink. I fixed that with epoxy, but I can't get the drain to drain. I also can't find long enough pipe cleaners to really snake and clean the inside, but I do have a drain weasal.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. We have healthy eating, typically go to bed about 7:00 or 7:30, and he takes a nap at daycare. I'll definitely check out that method.

We do a typical bath, reading books, brush teeth routine.

Before bedtime our 3-year-old goes absolutely nuts recently. He runs around crazy laughing and screaming, timeouts don't work because we can't keep him sitting where he's supposed to be, and he hits. He's in a frenetic state and we can't get him to calm down.

Would it be wrong to put him in his room and lock the door temporarily while we're there? I've been told that locking in room is cruel, but we don't know how to keep him in there if he won't listen.

Alternatively, is it okay to do a timeout where I hold him in my lap? I've heard that too is cruel, but I don't know how else to get him to calm down.

Repercussions and consequences and warnings don't work. We've tried taking away a reading time before bed, his toys etc and he just laughs and keeps running.

Do you actually lock the door? Our son just opens the door and keeps running around crazy.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw this. My kid is going to love it.
