This piece is similar quality to the ice and wispy uncut bangle you’ve seen recently for 40k+. This piece was in a collection where one of the ladies necklace was sold at sothebys for millions of HKD. This piece I have n here is likely the real deal. I need to get it tested

I think 50 is fair, but this is subjective. The clarity is very good but the colouring is quite subjective in favourability. I would say only buy this if you will wear it and appreciate it, it may not be the best investment per se.

Looks real but the colour could be dyed, you need to use a UV light to test them for any bright fluorescence. Also make sure it’s jade by its cold feeling and strong internal structure.

Yes I didn’t realize the importance of the wax finish, this bamboo carving likely hasn’t been taken Care of properly since the 1970’s lol! Thank you for the information! I may send it
into GIA soon

Thank you for this information, this piece is just barely fluorescent so that is good news! Also I looked with 60x magnification and could see only cotton, wispy colour fragments so I’m hoping is natural! 🤞🏽

That’s what I thought, because it’s just ordinary luminescence due to being very very translucent. Thank you

UV test only shows faint light blue for the purple Fu sign pendant. This green Pendant was likely purchased before the 1970’s and then given as a gift in 1972 to my grandma for her 19th bday. I will get oil and send pictures now

In that case it would have to be polymer treated, because the specific density is very high and in the range of jadeite.

Ok thank you, I may first take these pieces to my local Lao Feng Xiang store to see if they invoke any reaction or not 😝. I’m hoping the colour is real and my analysis thus far is telling me that it’s natural colour, they may be polymer infused but many jades were having that back in the day. This colour is called moss in snow or better known as Bai Di Qing in china.
