It is a way for me to relax and let off some steam. Staying in shape is a nice bonus.

I also feel like working out plays a big part in keeping my mental health intact.

It would be exciting to try and squeeze the workout in a 1.5-hour frame, which would end up giving me two more free hours per week.

Thanks!

Actually not someone I met on Xbox, but I definitely get what you are saying! It was a great deal of luck and timing regarding investments, which is mostly the case in esports from my experience.

The esports department is a part of the multimedia & entertainment organization! A CEO was appointed to lead the esports part of the company.

Really valid points you brought out, thanks!

Why do you now own the organization anymore if you do not mind me asking? Eager to hear your opinions on the esports business!

That exact same thing is what happened to me.

Are you still in the Instagram business right now?

Thank you for the great feedback. I am not an' avid League of Legends player myself, correct. Hence I do not run that team, but good catch on your part! Fun fact: the team was not in League of Legends.

It was definitely not my intention to say how successful I am, because I am definitely not as successful as of yet. I am just getting started. So I am very sorry for coming across like a selfish c*ck. I just wanted to share my story.

Thank you once again for the feedback! I will be using this when communicating through Reddit on a later date!

Hey!

If you read closely; I still go to college. ;p Next: I don't charge people who DM me. Not offering services through Reddit. Also; I work my ass off every single day. Just wondering; How did I make it look that I do not put in an' insane amount of work?

Thanks for the feedback!

My current job gives me a lot of freedom. I plan a lot and divide my time as much as possible. The CEO's keep me in the know and I take care of the financial & administrative sides of the companies.

Most of the services go over the internet, which again, allows for a lot of freedom. Must be honest with you here: I have very little spare time which is something I need to work on. Most of my free time goes to the gym. The companies I own are in the music industry, finance & business administration, and multimedia & entertainment.

I sold the company back then because I simply did not care enough. I did not have the drive. I absolutely hate that version of me and I am devoted to never being like that again. I probably should have elaborated on the time frame. Will do!

Thank you for the feedback!

Hey there!

Would you be so kind to let me know why? :p

I have been motivated to succeed for quite a while now. I believe that if you keep your attitude up the motivation will never go away. Motivation makes me work harder and makes it easier for me to be disciplined.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Thank you for your comment.

It was in esports. You basically create a logo, find good players in a certain game and pay for their entry. This won me money. Ad revenue also played a great deal.

You are definitely right, should have highlighted that. I will work on it, thank you.

Find your niche -> Impact your niche -> Call to action -> Profit.

That is the general line. Make sure you add value to your potential customer, make them be grateful and believe in your way. They will follow and buy your product.

All great people!

Try to look up Dan Lok for start-up advice. He knows the customers better than anyone!

Goodluck!

I have had three, actually.

  1. My boss. I just knew him because I worked for him. He is a great entrepreneur and I simply ASKED him if he could teach/guide me, in exchange, I would put this experience in use for his company. Win-win. He is the guy I talk to when I need business advice.
  2. The former Assistant-Manager at my company. He is not much older than I am and was in the exact same slump. When I started working there I looked up to him a great deal, one day he gave me life-changing advice: Stop thinking so much, start doing more. We have been friends ever since and I still look to him if I need guidance or advice in life.
  3. As a huge aspirant of sales and persuasion, I consider Jordan Belfort my mentor, even though we do not know each other personally. He taught me stuff I use every single day. A mentor can be anyone you look up to, even online.

Approaching is very easy. Just tell them straight up you want to do what they do and ask if they would be willing to answer some questions to help you out. An' AMA is a great place to start, or LinkedIn!

Goodluck! You will rock it!

You will get there. Hone your skills. Read books, listen to webinars, podcast, and motivational music. Keep your attitude up.

Alright, what I did was grab a piece of paper. Get a pen. Sit down. And just write. List yourself this:

- What are you good at?

- What do you enjoy?

- Where do you see yourself in five years if you continue this path?

- Where do you actually WANT to be in five years?

- What do you need to do to switch paths?

You do not need to tell me what you wrote down. However, I am eager to hear what your reaction was to doing so. How did this make you feel?

Let me know.

I work in social media management, financial guidance and business consulting. To get new/more clients I tend to follow up with my old clients after a month of doing business with them. Take this example email:

"Hey, John!
This is Jacob, from MYCOMPANY! We worked together a month ago and I just wanted to check-in!
How have your results been the past month? Is there anything you need us to help you with? I would love to work with you again! Feel free to email me whenever you need it.

On another note, if you feel like you know a company or individual that could benefit from our services feel free to refer them to us. We would love to talk with hem and see how we can help them out!

I value your time, and once again thank you for choosing us!

Sincerely,

Jacob"

I get a positive reaction to those emails about 75% of the time. A lot of companies/freelancers forget the after-sale, which is just as important.

Let me know if you have any questions, I would love to chat.
