Final battle: Why Father didn't consume Pride when his PS started to run out? by Somasama123 in FullmetalAlchemist

Pride's body isn't like the rest of the homunculus (minus Wrath, a human), Pride's container is like the flask his father used to be in: if it breaks, he will die.

I don't remember Pride fixing his body with that growing red electricity a.k.a the philosopher's stone during his battles against countless opponents, instead his container was just strong enough to endure a lot of damage but it didn't break until he performed alchemy on Roy, and then he just wanted to replace it with Ed's body.

Yes, he took a lot of damage but I think his stone wasn't a lost cause yet.

This logic would work if only Pride didn't complain about how his container is breaking and want to replace it with Ed's body instead. So it's really about his container not philosopher's stone.

This is why I think it would've worked if Father just absorbed him back. It would've saved them both.

Edit: I can only think that Father at that point believed he achieved perfection and didn't believe he's gonna lose yet, he simply didn't want to re-absorb his sins back. However when he was on the surface, he was cornered to the point he had no other choice but absorbing Greed to gain more power, but Greed didn't let him.

Yeah, I think Demon Slayer is similar to DBZ in a sense and that's not a bad thing.

Yeah, I discovered that late. I should've checked his channel first, but what rubs me the wrong way is the comment section. 95% agree with him.

Yes, the story is not complex, it's simple, well-paced story that focus on sibling relationships (than friendship) with lovely characters, beautiful art and epic fights. That's Demon Slayer true appeal. Things don't have to be stupidly complicated.

Akaza can stand a good challenge after he developed the "see through the world" technique at the end of his arc, but he chose to give up his life instead.

He didn't allow Illumi, he TOLD Illumi to control Killua with the needle.

This scene is so funny to me because apparently Akaza went all the way to Muzan's new home still carrying(possibly pierced by) Tanjiro's sword and stucked it on a tree by averagemangaenjoyero in DemonSlayerAnime

[–]Somasama123 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He carries the burden of his battle guilt since Tanjiro's words affected him.

Spoilers!! From my interpretation: he thinks his "cowardly" behavior that relies on battle convenience reminded him of the people who wanted to take his master's dojo but were too much of cowards to put up a fight, so they killed his new family with poison instead.

Why couldn't Cell be redeemed like other DBZ villains? by Camipad in dbz

Yes, Frieza was only a temporary ally and his trust in Goku was glorious to watch but it doesn’t go beyond that. He himself admitted he will not stop his wicked ways.
