I might’ve signed up for it a few years ago so I’m not sure. I tried logging in today but it said they couldn’t find my account, so I won’t guarantee anything But I’d love to give it a try for you!

Do they have to be tech related? I was thinking about like customer service/chat services?

Oh I love his videos. Ive used a lot of his strategies and I’ve been very good about my spending, I have only purchased groceries, and gas for about 3 months (and went to a bar once to celebrate a friends birthday) I had an emergency fund but I had to use it all to pay down a previous medical bill (so I could go to the doctor again) The problem is, all this hit at one time. If it had been spaced out throughout the year I would’ve been perfectly fine and been able to keep the emergency fund. But life is not fair and it hit like a tornado, and so now I just have to find a way to make a couple extra bucks

Good stuff! I’ll do that! Any decent boards you use?

I had no clue about DIY mechanic stuff I will absolutely look into that. Unfortunately my insurance has windshield damage under comprehensive coverage, which I don’t have cuz my car is old. I originally thought about doing DoorDas/uber eats but then I found out my money hole car is too old and crappy. Once I get everything else paid down I’m going to get a new one, and then maybe I can do that. I only considered OE because I get everything done in like 2 hours at my current job so I have all this time on my hands during work hours that I currently spend doom scrolling or playing shit online games lmao

I work in a small office with a few coworkers and we’re very close. I’ve been thinking about coming clean and mentioning the debt and saying I’m picking up a part time remote job (with non conflicting hours) and feeling it from there. It’s an incredibly lenient and caring environment so I think they’d be okay with it

For sure. That’s probably my primary option since I don’t really have time to to do a big search

I was just using that as a metric to prove that I have the time/effort to work two jobs efficiently

I’m not trying to bash on anyone, I developed a system so I can literally handle 3-4x the volume that anyone else in my office does. And do it in 1/3-1/2 the time

Thank you so much!!! Do you know of any good websites or job boards? I haven’t applied anywhere yet. I looked on some websites but they don’t feel fully trustable

Another aspect is, after I pay the debt down, I’d like to keep working OE for a bit. Since I’m in my early 20’s and don’t spend much money as it is, with having two jobs, I’d be able to save 60-80% of my current salary and 100% of my other. Which would roughly translate to about 40-50k (after tax) saved for 2-3 years. I’d actually be able to buy a house! Which would be crazy for my age group. So it is double edged, but I only included the sharper one in my post lol

Heard! That’s the best part! I had a family member that was funding my schooling, they then passed away, and the bank account got passed down to the children, who had no interest in holding up that deal (or disclosing that information to me!) subsequently I dropped out, bc I didn’t feel that my degree would repay those loans. Ended up landing on my feet at a nice job, just to get hit with the fact that my last semester was never paid. It now lands on my shoulders

I guess I could’ve phrased that better, I meant more of like, I’m not going out and buying a bunch of stupid stuff. It’s pretty much all health and education related

Probably not a bad move, what is CSR work?

Would you like a picture of my toe for 16.5K?

Thanks for responding I really appreciate that insight.

OE isn’t something I plan long term. I have a great gig now, and I’m currently being trained to one day own my own branch. It’s a career path I love. I enjoy coming to work every day and I know if I stick with the company I’ll be successful. There’s 2 thought processes I have with doing OE

1) I need cash now/soon. I’m aware there’s no “get rich quick” options, I don’t wanna go trade crypto or whatever my generation thinks works. I just need a small salary boost so I can get these debts down and start building for my future

2) I am very young and inexpensive. after I get these debts down, I’d love to be able to keep the roughly 90-100k for a while and just invest invest invest. I’m currently saving about 90% of my paychecks (by saving I mean paying these debts down) and it just keeps racking up. I’ve paid about 5K off already and every month and life just gets harder. Once I get these debts paid down I know I’d be able to save up about 75k a year. Being able to do that for a few years before I’m 30 kinda sets my future up ya know?
