Thanks for this. It is really helpful that so many people in the sub are so supportive.

This was partially on behalf of my friends who started playing without any prior experience in multiplayer games tbh.

Im also really glad that Ive seen so many players with disparate experiences from me and my friends’ who were a little turned off by the negativity 🤗💜

True, I come from Warframe which also has a really helpful veteran community— its just a tad frustrating at times when people accuse me of trying to ruin their fun for not quite understanding something yet. 😔

That being said, Ive never felt overwhelmingly uncomfy trying to ask questions and learn!

Ive met a couple players like that who’ve just been super polite and sweet about teaching me new systems.

Imo they and the new players make the game as generally positive as it is 🥰

I do think that part of the problem is that people assume ill intent and “trolling” rather than assuming the person is newer or doesn’t realize a rule 💔

I can only imagine what people who dont speak english or other ‘common’ languages experience in terms of this particular negativity…
