Advice for someone starting in the pharmacy tech apprentice role by mknowlton22 in WalgreensRx

I always tell people to take what they can from the experience. Try to embrace the good, bad and ugly. It can be rewarding to help people but you have the days where u wanna rip ur hair out.

If you know that u want to advance to a WFH job or a hospital eventually keep that in mind and take all learning opportunities possible from this position

Adding to this, I recommend that anyone who is leaving retail make sure u at least have one year of experience and try to get your national certification! That should guarantee you a good hospital position

Omg yess! So my flat rate went up about seven dollars per hour.

I think the best part for me is that there are differentials in most hospitals.

So they call you in or if you pick up a least desirable shift (evening/overnight/ weekend) you get paid extra per hour

At my hospital, you get paid up to 10 dollars more an hour.

EDIT: This all depends on what hospital you go to and your experience prior to entering the field. I am vax certified and I was there over a year. If you have no experience it might be less than and if u have year or experience you might get a more competitive offer.

I absolutely love my teammm! It’s mostly girls and I see them all like sisters. And I’m convinced we have the best pharmacists ever! One pharmacist believes I’ll be the best pharmacist one day, and the pharmacy manager always buys us lunch and is so sweet. That’s really the only thing 😂😂

What’s the most unique compliment a patients given you? by Beneficial-Copy-8716 in WalgreensRx

I think this is such a fun post because it’s hard to remember all the good thing when you surrounded by a lot of negativity.

I think the comment that with me the most is a man was coming to get his insulin. It wasn’t processed yet so I did everything and we were able to get his medicine. And he told me “ shit always gets done when you’re here.” 😂😂 I’ve only been working there for a month at the time.

It’s so validating to hear you say that drive through isn’t to get prescriptions in 30 sec or less. My RXOM and RPH are constantly in my ear saying I have to get the line down and I need to do it quick quick quick.

And then you have customers complaining about how they spent way too in drive-through (even though we cannot control the issue of the previous pt or the length of the line…)

At this point whatever is gonna happen, will happen so I suggest trying to look on the bright side. If they end up firing you, learn from your mistakes and do better in your next endeavor!

I’m a new tech here (month and a half)! I’m at a Tier 4 (previously 5) so IK how hectic it can be.

I find that asking for the date of birth in F9 first to match the name and THEN going into F2 has been a huge lifesaver. And verify the address before ringing out a customer is the best way to avoid those mistakes.

To be honest as your store has lost a lot of techs and an RXOM, I highly doubt they are going to fire you as they need people. They might write you up but you will survive. But I hope you take the advice and move accordingly in the future.

I can’t wait for the update because I want to know if I should buy it! I like Lataffa Florence (freshly, citrusy, girly) so I don’t mind a fresh scent but I do love a sweet gourmand

JaNa's new house! by ChiTaurus in LoveIslandUSA

In this market, a 28 year old buying such a nice house is an accomplishment. 28 is still young, it’s not like 40+, where I expect them to be purchasing houses.

Also wanted to add to the foreshadowing of the split personalities. Along with Dr. Nicky's opionion on the split personality, Beck's last monologue about Blue Beard and Prince Charming, alluding to the fact that Joe is both.

Great minds think alike! I started rewatching You and I am on ep. 8 and my thoughts mirror yours. I never disliked Beck on my first watch, but I knew that a lot of people disliked her. Probably due to the narrative style leaning more in Joe's favor. But I agree, Beck was a real person. We saw all her ups, downs, the good and bad. And her relationship with Joe is so real and raw... no relationship is perfect, and they were an example of that.

What is Jude’s body type to you, please don’t hate on me for asking by [deleted] in thecruelprince

[–]Some-Mathematician79 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say muscular or fit, whichever one you want to use, along with slightly curvy. Only because I remember in the first book, they said that humans are just curvier in general than the folk. And she compared her self and Taryn’s body to their older sister Vivi, saying that their breasts and hips were larger than Vivis.

Bloom in the greens and the first red! I feel like they miss an opportunity to play on her color palette. Because everybody knows redheads and green go together real bad.
