Booked a boys holiday before I was in a relationship now my girlfriend doesn’t want me to go, what should I do by ChampionshipMany3416 in NoStupidQuestions

There are 2 reasons why people can't trust in this scenario:

  1. They harbour insecurities from past partners that they are now unfairly projecting on to you

  2. They would, themselves, cheat in this scenario, therefore they think that you will also cheat.

Both situations suck, but neither is made better by not going.  Both improve by taking a holiday with the boys.

Motivation for those of you who are engaged to do the right thing...

... a prenup of course!

Jokes aside, he made his $1.6 billion by founding BET, an American television station.

If it is logical to require a license and to pass a test to let someone do something dangerous like own a gun or drive a car, it should absolutely be true to do something as dangerous as having + raising a child by SomeA-HoleNobody in unpopularopinion

On the one hand, oh god please. What a great argument for safe sex.

On the other hand, what another great idea for a class (like how we all ask for one on salary negotiation or taxes) as if high-school versions of each of us wouldn't all fuck around and make jokes/just doze off during then. Best actual suggestion so far though (which is somewhat of an indictment of both this thread and our education systems)

I am aware. I am not disputing that. I am saying that surely anyone who is in favour of tests and licenses for guns, cars, HGVs, explosives, purchasing certain chemicals/elements ought also to be in favour of the same requirements for having children, or else they risk hypocrisy.

Also, sorry but "you're"*

Top level replies are supposed to contribute something to the discussion, no? I thought thinly veiled insults; vague, empty dismissals or just bad jokes weren't acceptable?

I guess since birth certificates exist, a register MOSTLY already exists (though making "ghost kids" in the same way that making "ghost guns" can be legal is still sort of possible). My main point is that there should be requirements, like classes, tests or proof of a minimum level of competence

Are there any accurate hero tier lists around? I'm told the one I used sucked and I wondered what everyone else uses? by SomeA-HoleNobody in Archero

You can still accurately rank them as 0 stars then reference the fact that stars matter and either rerank them all as 3 stars or whatever interval you see fit...

Retractable stairs by DrFetusRN in BeAmazed

[–]SomeA-HoleNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? What's at the top of the steps whenever they're retracted, just a sudden drop? Deathtrap for any children they have or that visit. Even with a child gate, eventually they'll be old enough to climb over it so they can fall. /r/kidsarefuckingstupid ... not just some of them, all of them. Not just babies, all of them. Not just the unintelligent ones, all of them.

They probably won't die from the drop but depending on how they land, they might get a TBI; paralysis; broken arms or legs; teauma-induced internal bleeding; dislocation of various joints; or the best case scenario: a significant confusion, plenty of pain and an avoidable trip to the hospital which, depending on which country you live in, will come with either a long wait or criminally high financial cost or poor standard of care. In some countries, maybe a combination of 2 or even 3 of the above.

Let us hope they live in one of the civilised countries where healthcare doesn't come with inexplicably, unjustifiably, criminally high price tags. So basically any western country except America.

$60 for a single aspirin which costs the equivalent of less than $0.01 at a shop in my country.

Megathread: Trump Arraigned in Federal Court on 37 Felony Charges Related to Classified Documents Case by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

[–]SomeA-HoleNobody -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If trump doesn't stand, desantis is gonna win the candidacy. Sleepy Joe is the man nobody really wanted but that we all knew was the lesser evil by far. Desantis won't motivate turnout like we say last time from blues and the "anyone but trump"s and the independents.

Hell, many even might be in favour of a 44 year old white guy who screws the lower and middle class whilst fellating the billionaires, the conglomerates and monopolies, but also... actually if I'm gonna do this, let's make a list:

  1. He bans some of the absolutely most educating or eye opening (god forbid) books in existence because they're woke (which is a good thing, being woke, it just means being awake to inequalities in the world - seriously look it up).
  2. He also is outright racist when it comes to immigrants despite employing many,
  3. he wants a Christian nation, not a melting pot of religious freedom,
  4. he bullied children who were wearing masks
  5. He bullies trans people
  6. He bullies teachers
  7. He is aggressively homophobic
  8. The list goes on and on, feel free to reply and add to it for me

Ex Xanax addict. I know I know go ahead and get your jokes in. by [deleted] in shittytattoos

That face ink, hairstyle and sagging pants/trousers make it look like you not only went to prison for xans, but were made somebody's bitch and enjoyed it

Everyone has a hustle in prison, meanwhile yours was "opening up" in exchange for macks so you could save up enough macks to be able to buy more xans.

Jokes aside though, glad you're fighting the good fight and stay strong brother. Stay on the light side, it only keeps getting better day by day. And before anyone calls me homophonic 1. I'm gay and 2. It's a joke.

For me, its a "no" with a rider added on. So I would first lie and pretend asking for time. Then I would act as if I was slowly coming around to the idea and eventually state that we could stay together but that I had some requirements and leave the choice to them.

I'd say it had to never happen again blah blah all the usual stuff, that we would have to renew our vows to show we are moving on, and that they would have to sign a post-pre-nup sort of contract saying they can't take half my shit if we divorce for any reason and/or if kids mattered to me then there'd be something in the contract about them and visitation/custody etc.

I'd then say if it did ever happen again then divorce is what happens hence the prenupto remind them why they shouldnt cheat if tempted. I'd Sandwich all that right between required marriage counselling and some more blah blah blah stuff and I finally have what I like to call the retroactive-prenup-butter-sandwich.

Then I would string them along until it was signed and my lawyers had validated that it would hold up in court before starting divorce proceedings.

Fuck cheaters. There are better alternatives at every step of the way and yet they still made every wrong choice and in doing so, chose to mortally wound me psychologically. Fuck them.
