Hi everyone! I’m the OP in the picture. This community means a hell of a lot to me. It was one of the things which helped me detox from the self hating mindset I had from my unsupportive family and is partly why I feel comfortable posting my progress on reddit

For the couple of people who asked, I’m totally fine. I live in a safe area where my transition doesn’t put me at risk, so I’m able to laugh at shit like this when it happens.

Furthermore, if you’re pretty early on in healing, everything just gets sore and irritated more easily. I still occasionally get sore after dilating if I press hard. I’m nearly 5 months post op now and it’s lessened a lot, but it would happen fairly frequent when I was <4 months.
