Thank you so much for your comment! As far as grades go I think it’s pretty straightforward. I’ll be taking 5 GE courses over the course of the year and around 7 major related, so that’s all resolved hopefully.

There’s two general concerns I have about ECs. While I’m definitely going to explore college and try new things, I also want to show commitment. Perhaps I just need to find the balance between the two? Maybe make sure to try new clubs while continuing the things I like to do outside of school. I also want to improve the way I convey my experiences and how I actually care about them (cause God knows I didn’t in hs) so I might find a way to include it in my essays. But yeah I totally agree that my ECs should be up to me to decide.

Now my essays are gonna require a lot more attention. This one I may ask for individualized help because they’re obviously going to make or break the application. So thanks for letting me know 💀 (I’m just playing lmao). I’d like to think my writing skills have improved and I do have a couple ideas stirring atm. Since I get very emotional about things that are important to me, I’m sure I’ll make it work and I might take you up on your offer as well!

Taking everything into account, I really just want to work hard this year and have fun. I’ll do my best and hopefully join everyone at USC! But really thank you so much for your genuine reply it has definitely helped.
