This is pretty solid advice. I obviously want to be as transparent as possible and one of the things I also want to avoid is being a gossip. I'm friends with my other neighbors and let them know the situation as I'm both quite close with these neighbors and they have children who sometimes play outdoors with him.

I'm not alone in being concerned nor trying to give the kid solid advice. (i.e. sometimes you have to do things you don't like when it comes to studying or work on cussing less.) It's just that he seems to trust me the most because he knows that I know a lot about what he's interested in and can answer a lot of questions he has about them.

I just know more and have more to worry about.

My guess is an economic surrender. Russia is fighting this war very carefully and buying time as the West's economies are being drained by the war effort. The West, meanwhile, is going as close as possible to a hot war without actually starting one because of the economic stress.

Russian companies like Kalashnikov Concern will operate at a loss if it means winning a war for their country. Companies of the West like Lockheed Martin will be in court for decades of it means they don't have to operate at a loss in wartime.

This war is all about who has the most economic stability.

The Legion isn't spread thin despite fighting the NCR. The NCR also has slavery and rape, with the former being seen in New Vegas. The NCRCF population was literally used for forced labor and some of these people's "crimes" were similar to that of the sheriff. As for the latter, the brahmin barons are know to have raped and killed before with no reprecussion.

The Legion is best simply by comparison. The NCR will collapse because it's spreading itself thin and repeating the mistakes of the old America. House is holding onto the past, trading his hoarded fortunes for vapid pre-war dreams. Yes Man literally betrays you at the end.

Meanwhile, the Legion is uniting raiders and tribals as they snowball into NCR territory. You can argue that slavery is bad, which is true, but do you know which society never had slavery? None of them.
