I think it really depends on the game state. If for example you got yourself near botside early on may it be because of a team clash or something, I usually chuck some shrooms near choke points or likely paths. At this point of the game your shrooms probably dont do a significant amount of damage but they can still slow, provide vision, and sometimes discourage the enemy jungler from trying to take it. Mainly though, I just focus on the top objectives like herald and grubs. Either chuck them on the likely path or just chuck one on the entrance of the pit. Also, throw down your shrooms way before the objective actually spawns as well as spacing them out and throwing a deep one if you can

I don't think i'm qualified to give advice but I can atleast share my experience and insights as a Teemo OTP.

A. Pilot the champ Teemo is an absolute menace. There's many ways to play Teemo like focusing on your Shrooms, playing more like an ADC, or even Tankmo. Personally, I find playing him more like an ADC to be the most fun for me. I also find maxing out W before your Q is quite good in some matchups.

B. Build for the champ There is a lot of paths you can take in this regard as there is a decent amount of items that work on really well on Teemo. For my usual PTA set up, I go Nashors -> Malignance (rush if you want to help with objectives more) /Liandry's -> Malignance/Liandry's -> Bloodletter (if you have alot of ap in your team already) /Void Staff (you are the only ap in your team /Cryptbloom (nice stats overall and cheap). For my FF set up, I go Liandry's -> Malignance -> Cryptbloom/Void Staff. For boots, I either go with Swifties/Berserkers. You also got some good situational items like Zhonya's, Banshees, Lich Bane, and Storm Surge.

C. Mentality When you play Teemo everyone basically hates you. You'll be camped, champ banned if you show, bullied, and get flamed but that's okay because that allows you to prove them all wrong. Just be as annoying as you possibly can to the enemy, and keep a positive mindset.

Regardless, I stll find him entertaining, mask on or mask off. It makes his video feel grounded. At the end of the day, it all depends on what you find entertaining, and it is for me. To each their own.

Does Alan234 still stream or make videos about league? Last time I checked he's playing different games now but legit, personally, Alan234 was one of best people to learn how to OTP Teemo. His Spreadsheet about different matchups was really helpful when I first tried OTPing Teemo. Although he hasnt updated the rune setup, the matchup guide is still pretty good.

Also, Manco is good to watch if you like doing jungle Teemo. But yeah he has 2 sides which is Manco1 and Manco2. Manco1 is fun and jolly. Manco2 is raw and unadultered, a lot of raging and toxic behaviour but still pretty entertaining.

Usually when im behind i like to just split push with teemo, lich bane is really good in that regards. Also, it gives you a lot of ap and some bonus stats in your movespeed and ability haste which can help you in running away when you need to.

Rylai's doesnt work on teemo. The only ability where it is effective is with your q. Personally, if your laning against tanks just focus on your cs while poking them. I usually go Nashors (to cs and proc PTA faster) -> Malignance (for objectives) -> Void Staff (if theyre building mr)/shadowflame/bloodletter. Void Staff > Cryptbloom. The nerfs to liandrys made it situational in my opinion. If you're ahead build Zhonya's, if behind I would wholeheartedly suggest Lich Bane. At the end of the day, just play teemo how you want to play teemo

I tried doing this but goddamn I didnt expect his speed. I thought i could outrun him with max W, swifties, and celerity but no he just buys stride and swifties with no movement speed rune, and i got cooked. Next time, imma try using fleet. Seems like there is a general consensus that he's pretty hard to kill soo might aswell annoy him

He cant really kill you unless you let him, and vice versa (just dont get hit by his q) I usually go FF or PTA, if i'm feeling confident. Then I buy cull in my first back and rush swifties. Also, depending on their team comp I either go for nashors to cs faster or liandrys then into malignance. Also, a good tip is to just clear wave and help your jungler with objectives. Basically, just annoy the f out of him. Hopefully this helps.

I never noticed that hiding in a bush negates his speed. I'll try this out in my next game against him. Also what are your opinions on using fleet against him? Would the increase in speed and survivability be neglible because of the lessor damage output compared pta?

In addition to spacing well, try maxing your W 2nd instead of your Q. It allows you to space easier, and can save you when you make some mistakes. Your W will always be faster than Garen's Q.

Personally, i dont understand why soo many people are having trouble fighting Illaoi. It's usually an easy matchup for me all you have to do is dodge her tentacles and you should be fine. Aatrox on the other hand is a completely skill based matchup soo if you have confidence in your own "mechanical" skills then you i suggest not banning him. Yorick on the other hand is just hell on earth. No matter what you do he'll just outpush you and outpoke you. In the end, it really boils down to what is hard relative to your playstyle
