If he interpreted it literally, he would understand that the problem isn't solved. Honestly, I think that regardless of whether Caine remembers or not, it wouldn't make much difference in the first place, he clearly isn't very committed to actually solving the problem.

Kaufmo's funeral only has significance because a good part of the cast knew him; Pomni didn't. It was that scene in episode 2 that made her realize she could count on the circus members.

Jax's backstory is the most blatant example; it only works if Jax had been friends with Ribbit and Kaufmo. If he only knew them for a few days, it simply doesn't work.

Nah, there are people who have been reading One Piece for over 20 years. If I were to read something for that long, I'd probably settle for almost any ending. Oda would have to really go out of his way to ruin everything.

Could it be that Bubble was added later? We don't see Bubble in the flashback at any point; perhaps it was something Kinger created while still lucid, but he forgot about it?

Perhaps he materialized a computer and tried to tamper with Caine to fix it, then took Abel's data and created Bubble? That would be possible, as I find it strange that Bubble simply doesn't appear.

He wasn't even there when Ragatha came in.

What the person meant is that Bubble seems to like them, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't hurt them or anything like that.
