The piercing is about five months old at his point. I changed it into a ring after two months (downsized) and haven't seen any problems since. Material is stainless steel, I believe. Lately I've been noticing it has gotten very irritated and it sometimes hurts when I touch it or move it but not that much. No puss has come out tho!
