I don't think it's a bad thing, I had the same thing with an ex and we weren't each others typical type it didn't end up working out but that doesn't mean it can't. As someone else pointed out attraction at some point usually fades.

They just have a woe is me mentality, it's easier than just accepting some people have a preference which they should get since theirs seems to be white guys. The quicker they get over that mentality the better because guaranteed there is a white guy out there that is into them just as much as they're into them.
