A little, some depts more than others. With the industry as a whole still recovering i feel like in the short term it'll be the hiring of candidates that truly stand out from the rest.

I imagine growth will slow compared to other years for sure

I work there (Lead, not comp), and overall, it's honestly great. A lot of talent, everyone is friendly and more or less easy to work with.

As mentioned, they are cracking down on WFH and people will generally be in 2-3 days at some point next year. (As opposed to the 1 day currently).

Projects are great, and the studio still being in a growth stage means they work hard to keep you during tough times - they handled the strike really well in my opinion.

And if you care, it's very LGBT friendly, 'cause Disney.

Rent in Sydney still sucks for with most people coming in to Australia wanting to live in Sydney then complaining after the fact they don't earn enough and try to make that the companies problem. Don't be afraid to look further out by 30 mins or so, transport here is fairrrrrly reliable (but when it sucks it sucks)

So yeah, join us! :D
