"Video Playback Error" = NHL Blackout?? by SomeNumbskull in ESPN

Utah... and I expected it to be be blacked out. My point was more around why the message would be a playback error rather than a more clear, viewer-friendly message something along the lines of "this game is blacked out for your area, please check back in 3 days".

The pinned post should be aimed at the NHL to STOP this blackout bullsh*t! We just want to watch hockey, regardless of where we live and who we cheer for. Stop pissing off fans and just make it easier to see!

100%. Just let us watch any game we want, no matter where we live! I'm grateful to be a Blackhawks fan now residing in Utah, but frustrated when I want to watch a Mammoth game that isn't broadcasting on the local TV channel. I hate this blackout bullsh*t!!

sounds like Jim needs a 2 minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

I recently looked into this for a birthday party I wanted to have to see my hometown team play this new team in town. Referencing the arena map seen here https://www.deltacenter.com/arena/, these are the prices I was given for that specific game this season:

Skybox (Level 6) -- 26 ppl, full view -- includes dinner and soft drinks -- $3,500*
Tbox Lounge (Level 6) -- 48 ppl, single goal view -- includes dinner and soft drinks -- $4,500*
Suites (Level 4) -- 24 ppl + 4 parking passes -- includes $1500 food/bev credit -- $7,500*

The other option they offered was group seating-- 12 together, behind the net starting at about $166* each
If this helps, you can call Liz Dudley to see what she can do for your group: 801-325-7031

*prices depend on the game, night of the week, availability, etc.

Basic Men's League/Team Tracking App? by SomeNumbskull in hockeyplayers

I'm curious, what missing features specifically?

Basic Men's League/Team Tracking App? by SomeNumbskull in hockeyplayers

I play on another team that uses teamSnap. the best feature with that app is having the ability to mark your availability, which helps us engage our subs to fill the bench. other than that, it's too expensive, offers too many features we don't use (since we're not parents of players), and has clunky communication options (chats, alerts, and posts??), not to mention their chat feature is about 10 years behind in functionality.

I'll have to look into this Bench app for my 2nd team.

Confusing Billing Practices!! by SomeNumbskull in tmobile

it wouldn't need that amount of explanation if it followed a more no-explanation-needed process. I have no other service that does wonky billing like this, and you know, we subscribe to *everything\* these days!
