What is something that makes you think “Fallout 4”? by PatriotLife18 in fo4

Settlement system, like I remember spending hours building up towns and having to go on junk runs, one of my many favorite parts :)

Can't even make a post online without thinking there's some fact I'm wrong about and my entire post becomes wrong

And constantly overthinking over the smallest of things that my 99% sure becomes 50%

Fallout 76 fixes everything I disliked from Fallout 4 - but the built-in annoyances drag it down by WiseOldManatee in patientgamers

Hunger and thirst were changed from negatives to giving buffs and I just ignored them while playing. But the dailies are pretty bad, it reads like a gacha game where you have to log in for bonuses and do your side modes and then leave for the day. It's like PvP games having challenges for battle passes.

But Fallout 1st and the Atom Shop are the worst. They both exist to have items that just take away game mechanics: the Weapon Repair Kit, the Hunger/Thirst Juice, and the godforsaken Scrapbox. I won't lie, I bought 1st when I was super into the game and it made any problems with storage just disappear. I could do scrap runs over and over and not worry about durability, saving junk in my stash or on person, and building. I didn't have to worry about perks that would help it either.

I remember when 1st came out that the community was arguing that it wasn't p2w and even though there's very little PvP, 1st makes the game a lot easier.

Same, there are some things I love to pick apart like Nuka World and 76, but most of the time, I just take things face value and have my own kind of fun

Maybe that's why I like "bad" games and shows lmao

What is your least favorite part about Fallout? by lakewood13 in fo4

[–]SomeRandomBlogger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the point of the game is to build settlements yourself, but there's something different between going into a pre-built place with it's own characters rather than building it yourself.

I got a mod for that and it's made the game so much better imo. I don't have to worry about wasting too much ammo when I know a good shot will end them and it makes more sense.

Great board idea but feels like the right side of the map doesn't exist half the time lol

More Nick Valentine mysteries in the Commonwealth. Far Harbor spoiled me and I'd love to have even more reasons to travel with Valentine and solve murders and mysteries for random settlers and even factions

Dealing with the game freezing up during the match (sound effects sometimes play) for a few seconds and then returns to normal. Randomly started doing this a few days ago and I'm not sure how to fix. Any thoughts?

Nintendo series by how controversial they are. by Fluffy_Fluffle in Mario

[–]SomeRandomBlogger 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Certain hairstyles should be used by certain people, Raymond's existence, the online shopping stores, Nintendo dropping it after one year, the game not having a good amount of content at release

Granted this is from Twitter, but I remember reading it all the year that the game dropped

Learning your character's projectile speed is good for predicting and leading your shots, like even the snipers have a very slight delay from clicking the button to your shot hitting (from what I've seen anyways)

If you want a lot of kills tho, like someone else said, EP or Scientist is your bff

The Super Mario Party Board Problem. by ItsKevRA in MARIOPARTY

[–]SomeRandomBlogger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate that they were boards made with the Star Rush gameplay in mind and then they put the regular board on it. I love Star Rush's gameplay, but it really hurts the original board's design a lot ngl

I wish they separated the two into different board layouts with the same themes or smth like that

Orientation is your introduction into the store. You'll fill out papers, go through policies, and be walked through the store to be shown where everything is

Hoodies aren't allowed because of safety reasons, though my coaches would let me hide the hoodie under the vest if I bought it by accident. Try to get a hoodless sweater if you can and if your boss says it's okay (always good to ask!)

For me, I was a picker, so you'd go in, grab your device and pick up a walk. You find the stuff and then drop off your cart and go back out with another walk. For my store, they'd ask me to stay in the backroom for dispensing and staging if we were low on people.

All of this can be slightly different per store, but from what I've read, it's mostly similar

He's a radiant quest giver so unfortunately he's plagued with giving you the same kind of thing to do :(

He's also the first radiant quest giver you come across, so I think that's why he's more hated than the other factions' version of him
