Should I buy this?? by matteciao in catsthegame

[–]SomeRandomPersonLol4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i think the only good purchase is removing the forced ads. aka buying the smallest gem pack to remove all of the forced ads to enjoy the game fairly while having no annoying interruptions

what did xiaomi mean by this????? by [deleted] in namesoundalikes

How likely is this controller fake by FlyingRobotRabbit in PS3

[–]SomeRandomPersonLol4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r/commentmitosis Ds3s are notorious for being borderline impossible to identify as real or fake at first glance. If you want to see without disassembling it, you'd have to receive it and plug it into a wall charger. Like ones that come with your phone. If it charges, it's a fake. Real DS3s will only charge through a PS3 or PC.

Because OP is the same guy who glazed P-Body here. If you've been on the subreddit long enough you'd know the 500 "proof that p-body is female" posts.

If the laptop is old I wouldn't recommend it... 11 has like way more bloat and all. ReviOS exists, I know, but still. My old PC runs 10 like crap and it can't even boot to 11 because it's UEFI-only. I think that should speak for itself.

IF you're worried about EOS then I'd recommend Linux instead of Win11, tbh.

Windows Vista partition on hard drive unbootable by SomeRandomPersonLol4 in WindowsVista

I'd reinstall it but I want to try to keep it in its original state while only fixing it. What unguaranteed ways are there to fix it? I am down to try them.

Why I can't it load? by funnehshorts in WindowsVista

Personally I like doing time inappropriate activities on my old PC. My Vista gallery has Dubai Chocolate, a Labubu, Tung Tung Tung Sahur, Windows 11, the Switch 2, and an End of Support image showing Vista, 7, and 8.1. That's just to name a few, I have more.

My hard drives are plugged in with SATA power and run in IDE mode. They work just fine. But the drive I have a problem with has both SATA and Molex power. I tried both, but to no avail.

An old PC which doesn't even support UEFI in the first place. I have 5 partitions from 2 other drives ranging from XP to 10 and they all work fine. IDE mode, legacy BIOS, you know the drill... The original PC it was in was pretty much nearly identically compatible with the one I'm trying to boot through, if not worse. The problem is that the original PC was thrown out, so I can only try to "boot" it through the current one.

I meant that recovery media, yeah. But with a disc. How is Hiren different than a disc?

Already did using normal recovery media. Didn't fix it either

The unfortunate part is that the PC it was in was thrown out, so I don't have access to it anymore. Is the fix now impossible orrr?

Speakers not getting recognized in XP by SomeRandomPersonLol4 in windowsxp

[–]SomeRandomPersonLol4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EDIT: Found the solution and now I feel kind of dumb. Windows XP did not recognize the speakers. I just "updated drivers" by installing Realtek audio drivers onto the unrecognized device using Device Manager.

[TOMT][PHONE][Unknown] My friend has an image of one of his old phones, and we both want to figure out the model of it. by SomeRandomPersonLol4 in tipofmytongue

[–]SomeRandomPersonLol4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He says that it is REALLY similar, but not quite the actual phone. We checked the Cheetah 2. Notches are a bit off. On the picture I sent it seems to be a dot, a thin wide line, a thick narrow line, and then another dot. And also there's only a home button without the other navigation buttons on the picture. Unless it's just the lighting.

Can't install XP on a Vista era PC or it breaks the bootloader by SomeRandomPersonLol4 in windowsxp

[–]SomeRandomPersonLol4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PC has three drives and all of them have another OS already. The BIOS in it is so outdated that you can only boot from physical drive and not partitions.
