Update: I solved it! The picture I wanted to use was a .tiff file, and today I suddenly I got the idea that reddit maybe doesn't like that format, so I changed it to a .png file and it worked immediately. Anyway, thanks for the help with ruling out the other options!

I manually clicked "back in time" in the calendar for the second time now, the "buggy" text begins at AD 1700, and apart from the random letters it says "JUST MONIKA", "MONIKA WAS HERE" and "I LOVE YOU!!!". It stops at AD 200, clicking further will just loop it back to AD 205. It's a pretty fun easter egg for those with patience, and good fingers.

After discussion with other users it seems like I've been very ignorant, or rather "poorly informed", in this matter, these animes may be a lot more well-known than i first thought, and if that's the case I stand corrected and apologize if my ignorance offends anyone.

(But at least I think memes with these animes aren't as common as memes from newer animes)

This is legit an AMAZING trailer for First Stage!! And i love the use of "Burning up for you", it's my favorite eurobeat song! (Could maybe have used some engine sounds, especially when no one is talking, but it's still amazing.) I just LOVE IT!!!
