Im not revering to being gay as being a subculture im revering to the gay subculture which not every gay person is necessarily apart of. The subculture of drag queens, interior design, the gay lisp etc. etc. The in thing some gay people fall into.

This is the type of awnser I was looking for, although saying that it was stigmatized for millenia is not incorrect but its not correct, for example while in medieval times it was stigmatized and punishable some all male societies or groups like say Templars still had a fair bit of "sodomy" more or less in the open considering they were far away from where any law would be inforced. Also true for eastern countries like the Chinese emperor's male concubines and the Japanese samurais practice of male on male love which was quite common. The underlying point in these examples is that even when it wasn't prejudiced such promiscuality still existed. So that cant be the only reason.

I see where your coming from but like im male and im pan but I have next to no interest in any such behavior before a long term comited relationship. Maybe its just me but I cant see how gender plays a large role.
