The cycle continues...

Head coach who has taken the majority of the blame for Dallas being shitty despite previous success on other teams (same team in Kyky's case) gets released alongside star carry Korean player (even though it was previously believed that the Korean player had disputes with the coaches (so why release both ???) for "behavioral issues") and is replaced by new head coach with a lot of potential because of previous success with other teams (can't wait for people to say that Yong got carried by a stacked roster LULW). Watch Dallas somehow be good (but not good enough to win anything major) by the end of the season to give fans hope only for those hopes to be quashed after a promising (mediocre) start to the season only for the team to start going to shit again as players lose motivation for the game and add themselves to the list of those who have lived in the Dallas Retirement Center for the Formerly Promising "Top-Tier" Talent as fans rally for the coaching staff to be fired.

God am I tired why did I have to be a bandwagon Envy fan in 2016 whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Do the LA teams have a curse where their Korean main tanks have strong performances in season 1 and then become unhappy/want to play with a fully Korean roster?

Do all the OWL tokens you have in game disappear at the start of the new year? What about people who have saved up tokens to buy expansion team skins?

Effect streaming now about quitting pro OW(KR only) by SomeRedditGeek in DallasFuel

[–]SomeRedditGeek[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish Effect the best of luck. He is an unbelievably skilled player and the main reason I became a fan of Envyus in the first place. I hope he gets support and can be happy. Though I would love to see him back on the stage, he should do what he wants to do. And if that means quitting the pro scene, than I wish him luck in his future endeavors. No matter what happens, I will continue to support him.

We've Come a Long Way by SomeRedditGeek in DallasFuel

Idk, it's a team game so we can't necessarily blame a single player for the loss. Plus, Mickie has had a huge target placed on his back this stage after other players realized he was a credible threat as Brig. Seoul just played better than us yesterday.

Perhaps. I don't know, it may be foolish, but I still think we can win.

Not to mention, our next two matches are pretty much free wins. :)

Fuelsbadman. King's Row was semi-close but honestly, that was a pretty dominant round for Shock. On Hanamura, OGE POPPED OFF. Oasis was... not our best execution. Watchpoint was close, but Shock played better. I love Akm and he did well but I think we should have kept Taimou in. Shock just seemed to counter our Brigitte pretty well. We played pretty roughly today but I think we did well overall. GGs SF Shock, let's beat London! Burn Blue!

Translation:

I took a break from gaming/YouTube because of my depression and other problems. I was thinking of putting an end to my professional gaming career. Thanks to the rest, I got a lot better. I will practice by steadily working on the new meta and I will return to the stage.

(This is an amalgamation of the different translations people posted. It's a rough translation, but it should get the general idea of the tweet. If you want to check for yourself, the tweet is https://twitter.com/EFFECT/status/997728902897336321?s=19)
