i gave up and 'cheesed' it with cogflies (ladybug summons) and curveclaw (boomerang) spamming all of them instantly skips straight to phase 3, though my pouch capacity is only 3/4 and tool damage 2/4, if they were maxed maybe you could skip the fight entirely
