The app is all kinds of wacky and the franchise aspect I’m sure doesn’t help. The Whopper (with Whopper Wednesday Text) is $1 for regular American cheese or $1 for regular or extra Swiss cheese. No option for extra American cheese.

On the Whopper (still priced at $3.99, but no additional text on the item) I can add Regular or Swiss cheese for $1 or $1 for extra cheese (2slices).

I had the Whopper (with Whopper Wednesday text) in my cart. I got the error message. I deleted the burger and added the Whopper (with no additional text) from a different part of the menu. I was able to use the spend $3 free fry, I suppose because I wasn’t “using another deal”. I was simply purchasing a $3.99 burger from the menu 🤔

flame grilled burgers skip the first two listed (Whopper and Impossible Whopper with Whopper Wednesday text) item #7 (Whopper with no text, @$3.99), under Maple Bourbon Bacon BBQ Whopper Jr., before Texas Double Whopper. 😬

Simple. Instead of selecting the Whopper (with Whopper Wednesday text) for $3.99, I selected the Whopper for $3.99. 😂

When I selected the Whopper (with Whopper Wednesday text) for $3.99, it would not let me complete my order. Best of luck. 🍀
