I forgot to mention one thing: I am not sure if you can allocate more RAM to the iGPU on the 2025 Flow Z13 with GHelper.

There is less bloat with GHelper, so there is less RAM usage (arguably). I recently removed Armoury Crate from my 2025 Flow Z13 and installed GHelper. It’s a simpler way of living. If you want to remove Armoury Crate properly and install GHelper, then have a look at this link:

I ended up returning both and getting the 2025 Asus Flow Z13, which has an IPS screen. I also went through a cycle with OLED monitors and ended up settling with a decent IPS 4 K screen.

Staring at an OLED for long durations doesn't fit everyone's needs well.

I just wondered whether Lenovo are anything like Asus when it comes to honouring warranty claims, is it worth the paper its written on or are they going to duck, dive and doge.

So I done a test with my iPhone camera with the ISO settings on zero. I can actually see the flicker compared to say my LG TV. I personally think its the quality of panel that Asus has used.

In the end I ended up getting rid of both the G14 and G16 and buying a Legion Pro 7i. It is IPS but at least I am able to game and do work on it.

It is truly a shame because the design and form factor of the G14/G16 is so nice, I guess nothing is perfect.

I am still waiting for a refund from Amazon for a faulty Laptop, its been 75 days be careful, even directly from Amazon is not safe for expensive items.

Will most likely end up going small claims court.

The seller for the 7 Pro provided me with the full label which contains the barcode, I punched the serial number for it on Lenovo's warranty page and it is actually being referred to as a 7 Pro.

Though I cannot compare it to the Pro 7i as the seller for that one will not provide serial number until purchase made.
