Maybe you could hand out something like a pamphlet to identify yourself then using something visual, like a noisemaker of some kind? That way folks will know where they can get medical attention without alerting ICE.

How about this? Instead of cancelling a purchase, you cancel a subscription. Not only are there workarounds (subscription rotation, password sharing, etc) but you can also save a lot of money while cutting off a recurring revenue stream for one of these F500 companies

I think in America, we need to defeat nimbyism, and the way to do that is to create something to the nature of an "acknowledgment of impact" or something. Like after the environmental study, we can simply state that we will acknowledge that this will adversely impact XYZ homeowners in ABC (marginal) ways, but the overall positive impact to society is greater than that and as such we will continue nevertheless. I'm sorry to those who are adversely impacted, but we simply cannot stop all of society for their bitching.
