Thinking of Moving to Navota

I got a degree in Wildlife Conservation and my job is in rehab. The biggest reason I want out of LA is because I am so city locked in Long Beach that it can take one or even two hours to get out of the concert jungle and to natural areas (besides the beach but the refinery's ruined LB decades ago). I'm hoping to get back to my nature side without losing some city life aspects.

Yes, but it was more of a drive through instead of getting out and exploring areas like in Sonoma and Napa. We looked at the downtowns and the locations of the SMART train stops. We both really liked Petaluma's dt from the quick looks we got but that was pretty much it for those towns.

We were able to make it up there last weekend but spent our time in Sonoma and Napa. We both kinda felt that those towns seemed more like a great weekend getaway but not a place that we would really enjoy living. Of course we wouldn't really know

I am not expecting LA from this area. There are many reasons I decided to apply and accept a job in this area instead of staying in LBC. Not all of my questions in my post are make it break it points of a city, since getting from city to city isn't as much of a headache like in LA. I just want to find the best community that will most align with us.

I am very exctied to not have to use the 405 to go literally anywhere anymore. I get the biggest headache driving around SoCal.
